Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the Video Routing Module (VRM) (1) into the vehicle.
  2. Install and tighten the three VRM to body nut (3) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the VRM electrical connectors (2).

  4. Install the VRM cover (2) with the two mounting nuts (3) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  6. Reset the passenger front seat.
  7. If the VRM has been replaced, the remotes will have to be programmed. To program the remotes:
    • Reset the remote control by pressing play/pause, down, and the screen button simultaneously for about 5 seconds until the backlight flashes.
