With Trailer Tow: Installation

  1. Position the Hands Free Entry Power Liftgate (HFEPLG) module to the vehicle for installation.
  2. Route the wiring harness over the trailer tow hitch.
  3. Re-secure the wiring harness by routing through and tightening tie straps hold downs.
  4. Install the fasteners to secure the HFEPLG module with sensor to the vehicle.
  5. Connect the wiring harness to the HFEPLG module.
  6. Install the rear fascia. Refer to FASCIA, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
