Module, Adaptive Cruise Control: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery cable from the negative battery post.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the ACC cover from the front fascia.
  4. Remove the lower fascia closeout panel. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT LOWER, CLOSEOUT, REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the wire harness to ACC bracket routing fasteners (2).
  6. Disconnect the electrical harness from the electrical connector (3) of the ACC module assembly (4).
  7. Remove two bolts (1) securing the ACC module assembly bracket to the support cross bracing.
  8. Remove the ACC module assembly with bracket from the vehicle to bench.
  9. Remove the four retainers that secure the ACC module assembly to the ACC bracket. The clip needs to be cut off without damaging the pins.
