Diagnostic Test

  1. VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

      Is this DTC active?

      Yes 

      • Refer to Diagnosis and Testing and perform the U0197-Lost Communication with Hands Free Phone Module diagnostic procedure.

      No
