Diagnostic Test

  1. ACTIVE DTC 

    Ignition on, engine not running.

    With a scan tool, select View DTCs.

    Is the status Active for this DTC? 

    Yes 

    1. Refer to ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS for diagnostic procedures and for further possible causes.

    No 

    1. Refer to the INTERMITTENT CONDITION Diagnostic Procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
    2. Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
