Sensor-Inlet Air Temperature

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 Dodge Sprinter. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor is used by the PCM to measure the density, or mass of air flowing into the engine. The MAF sensor is integrated with an Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor, which is used to measure the temperature of air flowing into the engine. The MAF sensor is located at the back of the intake manifold between the air filter housing and the electronic throttle valve.
