Motor-Boost Pressure Servo: Installation: Servomotor

  1. Install actuator rod onto servomotor (4). See Fig 1.
  2. Install circlip (1). See Fig 1.
  3. Position servomotor and actuator rod onto turbocharger (5). See Fig 1.
  4. Install mounting bolts (3). See Fig 1. Tighten bolts to 8 N.m (70 lbs.in).
  5. Install circlip on the actuator rod at the turbocharger end (2). See Fig 1.
  6. Connect electrical connector (6). See Fig 1.
  7. Install the turbo heat shield.
  8. Connect negative battery cable.
  9. Install air cleaner housing.
  10. Connect negative battery cable.
