Unlatch Output

When the BCM is required to perform an unlatch function, the output power wave to drive the doors off of the primary latch is:

  1. Power ON for 63ms.
  2. Power OFF for 31ms.
  3. Power ON for 94ms.

A single pulse to the unlatch motors causes breakage of the gears. A dual pulse lessens the motor torque and provides longer life to the gears.
