REMOVAL - 2.0, 2.4, and 2.4L Turbo

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Lift vacuum line out from behind the upper support bracket. See Fig 1 and Fig 2.

  3. Unlock and disconnect the 3 or 4 electrical connectors from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). See Fig 3.

  4. Remove the clutch reservoir and relocate. See Fig 4.

  5. Remove the 3 mounting screws. See Fig 5 and Fig 6 from the PCM mounting bracket and remove PCM and bracket assembly. See Fig 7.

  6. Remove the 3 screws from the PCM bracket to PCM. See Fig 8.
