Alarm Trips On Its Own

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.

Using scan tool, monitor ALARM TRIPPED BY status. If any causes are displayed, diagnoses system that tripped alarm. See ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS article. If no causes are displayed, system is okay at this time. Check for intermittent poor connections or faulty circuits. See ANTI-THEFT in appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL.
