Vibration Damper: Installation

  1. Install crankshaft damper using Special Tools C-4685-C1 (5.9 in.) Bolt, with Nut and Thrust Bearing from 6792, and 6792-1 Installer (Fig 1 ). Install center bolt and tighten to 115 N.m (85 ft. lbs.) (Figure ).

  2. Install accessory drive belts. (Refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE )
  3. Install radiator fan. (Refer to RADIATOR FAN )
  4. Install upper radiator crossmember. (Refer to GRILLE OPENING REINFORCEMENT )
  5. Connect negative cable.
