Mode 2

MODE 2 checks seat and mirror motor and sensor connections. To enter MODE 2, press and hold "S" and "2" buttons for 5 seconds. MODE 2 will exit after 5 seconds without switch activity, or when RKE data input circuit is grounded (transmission is shifted out of Park). MODE 2 will:

• Place seat and mirror motors in mid-point positions.
• Allow seat or mirror to move in one direction at a time. This will check switch and motor operation.
• After switch is released, seat or mirror will return to mid-point position. If seat or mirror does not return to mid-point position, sensor or motor problems exist.
