Horn Fails To Sound During Alarm

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Ensure horn is operating properly. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module connector, located under pad in center of instrument panel. Connect one end of a jumper wire to RKE module connector terminal No. 18, horn relay control circuit (Black/Red wire). See Figure. Momentarily touch other end of jumper wire to ground. If horn sounds when jumper wire is grounded, go to next step. If horn does not sound when jumper wire is grounded, repair open Black/Red wire.
  2. Replace RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
