Test NTC-47: Vehicle Speed Sensor & Speedometer Circuit

Using scan tool, read vehicle speed (sensor read test No. 65). If actual speed is indicated while driving vehicle, replace PCM. If actual speed is not indicated, check connectors and wiring between PCM and Electronic Automatic Transmission Electronic Control Module (EATX-ECM). PCM is located at left front corner of engine compartment, in front of EATX-ECM, near relay box. Repair wiring and connectors as necessary. If wiring and connectors are okay, check speedometer circuits. See TEST NTC-48: SPEEDOMETER . If speedometer circuits are okay, check automatic transaxle control system.
