DTC Test No. 40: Battery Temperature Sensor Volts Out Of Limit

Circuit is monitored when ignition is on. DTC is set when sensor voltage is not within .3-4.9 volts for 3 seconds. Possible cause is defective Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Replace PCM. PCM is located at left front corner of engine compartment, in front of Electronic Automatic Transmission Electronic Control Module (EATX-ECM), near relay box.
