Visual Inspection
A careful and thorough visual inspection of components may quickly identify cause of malfunction and eliminate need for diagnostic testing. Check wiring harnesses and ATC system-related components for damaged or disconnected connectors. Data Link Connector (DLC) is located under driver's side of instrument panel. Connect scan tool to DLC. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . Ensure all relays are properly installed in Power Distribution Center (PDC) and junction block. PDC is located on left side of engine compartment. Junction block is located behind end cover, at left side of instrument panel. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
