Trunk Lid Latch

Adjust trunk lid latch and striker so trunk latches with a moderate slam. See Fig 1 . Push trunk release switch with ignition switch in ON or ACC position, trunk should unlatch. If latch fails to lock or unlock, replace latch assembly. See PRETEST INSPECTION under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
