DTC P0462-B: Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too Low

NOTE: For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article.

Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) connector. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance at 10-pin fuel pump harness connector (BCM side) fuel level sensor signal circuit (Dark Blue wire). The 10-pin fuel pump harness connector is located under rear seat on passenger side. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, replace BCM. Perform TEST VER-2A: ROAD TEST VERIFICATION . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground on fuel level sensor signal circuit. Perform TEST VER-2A: ROAD TEST VERIFICATION .
