Trunk Release

Ensure at least 10 volts is present at trunk release solenoid when trunk switch is pressed. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Ensure there is a good ground through latch mounting bolts. Remove latch and check plunger. Plunger should spring back when pressed. Ensure solenoid plunger travel is at least 5/8" (16 mm). Replace solenoid if it does not operate as specified.
