Transponder CRC Failure, Transponder Communication, Id Mismatch Or Response Mismatch

NOTE: Perform SKIS TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see BODY CONTROL COMPUTER - INTRODUCTION article. Perform VERIFICATION TEST: VER-1A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Using each of customer's keys, start vehicle. Using scan tool, read SKIM DTCs. If TRANSPONDER DTC is present, replace SKIM and perform SKIM INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE . If TRANSPONDER DTC is not present, system is currently functioning correctly.
