Test TC-87B: Speed Control Switch Always Low

Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance of PCM connector terminal No. 41 between PCM connector and ground. See PCM CONNECTOR WIRE IDENTIFICATION table. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground on PCM connector terminal No. 41. Perform TEST SC-VER  . If resistance is 5 ohms or more, replace PCM. Perform TEST SC-VER  .
