Skis Test 7A - VIN Mismatch & EEPROM Failure
NOTE:
Perform SKIS TEST 1A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION

. Perform, after each repair, TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
Using scan tool, erase SKIM DTCs. Wait 10 seconds. Start engine 20 consecutive times. Using scan tool, read SKIM DTCs. If scan tool displays INTERNAL SKIM FAILURE, replace smart key immobilizer module. Perform SKIM INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE . If scan tool does not display INTERNAL SKIM FAILURE, system is currently operating correctly.
