Skis Test 12A - Transponder CRC Failure Or Transponder Communication Failure

NOTE: Perform SKIS TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Start engine several times using each of vehicle's keys. Using scan tool, read SKIM DTCs. If scan tool displays TRANSPONDER DTCs, replace smart key immobilizer module. Perform SKIM INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE  . If scan tool does not display TRANSPONDER DTCs, system is currently operating correctly.
