Power Top Test 2B - Inoperative Power Top Motor

NOTE: Perform POWER TOP TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .

Disconnect power top switch connector. Ensure ignition is on. Do not disconnect jumper wire. Using external voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 6 (White/Black wire) on power top switch connector. If voltage is more than 10 volts, problem is not with feed circuit to power top switch. Go to CONVERTIBLE TOP - POWER article for further diagnosis. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open White/Black wire.
