Power Door Lock Test 6A - Inoperative Door Lock Inhibit Circuit

NOTE: Perform POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Open left front door and read left front door ajar status. If scan tool displays LF DOOR: CLOSED, go to next step. If scan tool does not display LF DOOR: CLOSED, go to DOOR AJAR TEST 3A  .
  2. Remove key from ignition switch. Using scan tool, read key-in ignition status. If scan tool does not display KEY-IN IGN: CLOSED, go to next step. If scan tool displays KEY-IN IGN: CLOSED, go to CHIME TEST 7A  .
  3. Insert key in ignition switch. Using scan tool, read key-in ignition status. If scan tool displays KEY-IN IGN: CLOSED, replace Body Control Module (BCM). If scan tool does not display KEY-IN IGN: CLOSED, go to CHIME TEST 6A  .
