Instrument Cluster Test 5F - Parking Light Switch Output Circuit To BCM

NOTE: Perform INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TEST 5A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Turn ignition and parking lights off. Remove Body Control Module (BCM) from junction block. See Figure and Figure in CHIME TEST 3A. Turn parking lights on. Using external voltmeter, measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 8 on junction block 12-pin internal connector. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace BCM. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair Black/Yellow wire between parking light switch and junction block.
