Test SC-3A - Checking Speed Control Set/Resume Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE: Perform TEST SC-1A  before proceeding.
  1. Disconnect 2-pin SET/RESUME switch connector (located behind speed control SET/RESUME switch). Connect a jumper wire between 2-pin speed control SET/RESUME switch connector terminals.
  2. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, read speed control switch voltage. If voltage is less than one volt, replace speed control SET/RESUME switch. Perform TEST SC-VER . If voltage is one volt or more, go to next step.
  3. Remove jumper wire from 2-pin speed control SET/RESUME switch connector. Using external ohmmeter, check resistance of speed control SET/RESUME switch ground circuit Black/Light Green wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair open speed control switch signal circuit Red/Light Green wire. Perform TEST SC-VER . If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open ground circuit Black/Light Green wire. Perform TEST SC-VER .
