All Windows Do Not Lower When Convertible Top Switch Is Operated

  1. Remove driver's door panel to gain access to relay. See DOOR TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect drop relay harness connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using DVOM, check voltage between terminals No. 1 and 2 and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, inspect circuit breaker No. 19. Replace as needed.
  2. Turn ignition off. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between relay harness connector terminal No. 9 and ground. Repair as needed. If circuit is okay, go to next step.
  3. Connect harness connector to relay. Connect DVOM between connector terminal No. 7 and ground. See Figure . Operate convertible top switch. Voltage should be displayed for 280-380 seconds. If no voltage is present, replace drop relay. If voltage is displayed, inspect power window circuit connections.
