Test 15D: Pump Motor Circuit Not Working Properly

NOTE: Perform TEST 15A: PUMP MOTOR CIRCUIT NOT WORKING PROPERLY  before proceeding. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect CAB connector. Inspect CAB connector and terminals for damage. Repair connector and terminals as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1A: VERIFICATION TEST  . If connector and terminals are okay, go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance between ground and CAB connector terminal No. 3 (Gray wire). If resistance is less than 120 ohms, replace CAB. Perform TEST VER-1A: VERIFICATION TEST  . If resistance is 120 ohms or more, repair open Gray wire between CAB and pump/motor relay. Perform TEST VER-1A.
