Test 90A - Both Doors Fail To Lock & Unlock From One Switch

article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
- Turn ignition off. Gain access to inoperative door lock switch. Disconnect door lock switch connector. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on door lock switch connector terminal No. 3 (Red wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Red wire. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
- Check voltage on door lock switch connector terminal No. 1 (Orange/Violet wire). Depress door lock switch to LOCK position on opposite door. If voltage is less than 9 volts when switch is pressed, repair open Orange/Violet wire. If voltage is more than 9 volts when switch is pressed, go to next step.
- Check voltage on door lock switch connector terminal No. 3 (Pink/Violet wire). Depress door lock switch to UNLOCK position on opposite door. If voltage is less than 9 volts when switch is pressed, repair open Pink/Violet wire. If voltage is more than 9 volts when switch is pressed, replace inoperative door lock switch.
