Test 99A - All Doors (Except Left Front) Fail To Lock & Unlock

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see appropriate article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE:
  1. Remove door unlock relay from junction block. See Figure . Junction block is located behind end cover, on left side of instrument panel. Go to next step.
  2. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of door unlock relay connector terminal "A" (Pink/Black wire). If resistance is more than 10 ohms, repair open Pink/Black wire. If resistance is less than 10 ohms, go to next step.
  3. Check resistance of door unlock relay connector terminals "D" (Black wire) and "E" (Black wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms in either wire, repair appropriate open Black wire. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace unlock relay.
