Test 27C - All Brake Lamps Out

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.

Turn ignition off. Put DRB in ohmmeter mode. Remove fuse No. 21. See Figure . Measure resistance at fuse terminal No. 21 (Red/White wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair Red/White wire between fuse panel and power distribution center for short to ground. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace power distribution center headlamp system 40-amp fuse. See Figure .
