Test 80B - Vehicle Theft Alarm Diagnostics

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  at end of article.

Turn ignition off. Rotate key cylinder (door lock) in left front door to unlock position. Turn ignition on (engine off). If DRB-II displays CURRENT MODE DISARMED, retest vehicle theft alarm system. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1. If DRB-II does not display CURRENT MODE DISARMED, replace vehicle theft alarm module. Perform VERIFICATION PROCEDURE VER-1.
