Vehicle Speed Sensor Input Circuit
Raise front end of vehicle. Disconnect ECU harness. Connect ohmmeter between terminal No. 17 of ECU and ground. See Fig 1 . Rotate wheels in forward direction and ensure ohmmeter indicates fluctuation between continuity and no continuity. If ohmmeter does not read properly, check circuit for open or shorted condition and/or bad vehicle speed sensor reed switch.
