Motor Does Not Continue To Park Position

  1. Disconnect motor wiring harness, and clean terminals. If problem persists, turn switch to OFF position. With motor harness disconnected, connect voltmeter or test light to ground strap and terminal No. 2 of wiring connector.
  2. If voltage does not exist, check wiring harness and switch for open. If voltage exists, connect ohmmeter or continuity tester between terminals No. 1 and 3. See Figure . If continuity exists, replace motor. If continuity does not exist, repair open circuit in switch or harness.
