If Key Card is not functioning, verify there are no pertaining DTCs. If the card still does not work, proceed to replace the key card. Begin by terminating all cards, then follow up with adding a new card. Verify operation. If Key Card only unlocks the vehicle, but does not lock the vehicle, technician should then investigate vehicle access/immobilizer/remote functions.

If intermittent fault occurs, begin by updating K183 UHF Short Range Low Energy Remote Control Access Transceiver to the latest software. If issue persists, terminate all cards and learn a new Key Card. If this does not fix the issue, turn attention to K300 Near Field Communication Exterior Module.

NOTE:

Key Cards that were previously learned to a vehicle may NOT be learned again.
