Installation Procedure
Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.
- Fuel Tank (1) - Install
Fuel Tank Strap (2) - Install [2x]
- Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Evaporative Emission Pipe-Fuel Tank (2) @ Evaporative Emission Pipe-Underbody - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Fuel Feed Pipe-Fuel Tank (1) @ Fuel Feed Pipe-Underbody - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose (1) @ Evaporative Emission Canister - Connect
Evaporative Emission Pipe (3) @ Fuel Tank Filler Pipe - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Fuel Tank Filler Hose (2) @ Fuel Tank - Connect
- Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (1) @ Fuel Tank Filler Hose - Install
Wiring Harness Retainer - Secure [4x]
- Wiring Harness (1) - Connect [2x]
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side @ Vehicle - Install - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
- Propeller Shaft @ Vehicle - Install - Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement
- Exhaust Muffler @ Vehicle - Install - Exhaust Muffler Replacement (LE2)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
- Refill the fuel tank.
- Inspect for fuel leaks.
