Circuit/System Testing

NOTE:
  • This DTC may be stored as a history DTC without affecting the operation of the control module.
  • If stored only as a history DTC and not retrieved as a current DTC, do not replace or reprogram the control module.

DTC U3000 with failure type byte 02, 16, 17, 1C, 29, 42, 45, 49, or 63 

  1. Verify that the DTC is not set with FTB 42, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, or 49.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Replace the K182 Parking Assist Control Module.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  2. All OK.

DTC U3000 with failure type byte 46, 51, or 57 

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify that the DTC is not set with FTB 46, 51, or 57
    • If the DTC is set 
    1. Program the K182 Parking Assist Control Module.
    2. Verify the DTC does not reset.
      • If the DTC resets, replace the K182 Parking Assist Control Module.
      • Go to next step: If the DTC does not reset
    3. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  3. All OK.

DTC U3000 92 

  1. Verify that the DTC is not set with FTB 42, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, or 49.
    • If the DTC is set 
    1. Clear the DTC.
    2. Operate the vehicle and verify that the DTC does not reset.
      • If the DTC resets, replace the K182 Parking Assist Control Module.
      • Go to next step: If the DTC does not reset
    3. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  2. All OK.
