Removal Procedure

    Remove the rear door trim panel, left side. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E24) .

  2. Remove the lock rods (1, 3) from the rear door latch control, left side (4).
  3. Remove the two nuts (2) that retain the rear door latch control (4) to the rear door.
  4. Remove the left side rear door latch control (4) from the vehicle.
