If an automatic transmission control lever handle retainer (1) was not found during removal install a new retainer.

Install the automatic transmission control lever handle retainer (1).

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Automatic Transmission Control Lever Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
Automatic Transmission Control Lever Seal (2) - Install
Steering Column Trim Cover - Install - Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement
