Installation Procedure

Install the current sensor (2) to the battery negative cable (1).

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the body harness ground cable (2) to the battery negative cable (6). Tighten the fastener (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Connect the wiring harness current sensor connector (3).

Install the battery negative cable (2) to the chassis frame stud and tighten the fastener (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) .
