Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
Remove the brake hose fitting bolt (1).
Remove the brake hose fitting (1) from the brake caliper.
- Remove and discard the brake hose fitting gaskets (2).
- Cap the brake hose fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Remove the brake caliper guide pin bolts (1).
Remove the brake caliper (1).
NOTE:
Do not reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.
