Installation Procedure

    Install the fuel injection pump metering valve (2).

    Install a NEW fuel injection pump metering valve o-ring seal. The seal is NOT shown.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the fuel injection pump metering valve fasteners (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

    Position the fuel feed hose protector (3).

  4. Install the fuel feed hose protector bolt (2) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  5. Install the fuel feed and return harness bracket nut (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

    Connect the electrical connector (1).

  7. Engine Mount Bracket-Left Side - Install - Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side
  8. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)
  9. Prime the fuel system. Fuel System Priming 
  10. With the engine running, check the fuel system for leaks.
  11. If replacing, perform the high pressure fuel correction reset. High Pressure Fuel Correction Reset
