Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Engine Wiring Harness (1) @ Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect

  3. Electrical Connector (2) @ Crankshaft Position Sensor Bracket (3) - Unclip [2x]

    Crankshaft Position Sensor Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  5. Crankshaft Position Sensor Bracket (2) - Remove

    CAUTION:

    Do not allow the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring to come into contact with external magnetic fields or sharp metal objects. Do not drop the crankshaft position sensor reluctor ring. Do not damage the rubberized encoder track. Failure to follow these precautions may cause damage to the component.

    Crankshaft Position Sensor Bolt (1) - Remove

  7. Crankshaft Position Sensor (2) - Remove
