Removal Procedure

Safety Goggles and Fuel Warning

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Relieve the fuel pressure:Fuel Pressure Relief 
  3. GM4091478

    Remove the fuel tank.(1) Fuel Tank Replacement .

  4. GM4091454

    Disconnect the fuel tank fuel feed pipe (4) from the fuel tank fuel pump module (1). Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Close all connections with EN-6015  plugs.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.(2)
  7. Unclip the fuel tank fuel feed pipe (4) from the fuel tank bracket (5) and the fuel pressure sensor clip (3).
