Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:

Before pressing the emergency button, contact the OnStar call center to notify them that testing is being performed and an actual emergency does not exist.

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify the function: OnStar Buttons - All
    • If none of the functions work properly 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If at least one of the functions work properly 

      Replace the component: S51 Telematics Button Assembly

    • Go to next step: If all functions work properly 
  3. All OK.
