Installation Procedure

  1. Install Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (3)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Tighten Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) to 5 N.m (44 lb in)
  3. Close Battery Positive Post Cover (2)

  4. Install Generator Battery Control Wiring Harnesses (3) (Qty: 3)
  5. Install Battery Positive Cable (2)
  6. Install and tighten Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Nuts (1) (Qty: 3) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

  7. Connect Electrical Connectors (2) (Qty: 2)
  8. Install Fuse Block Cover (1)
  9. Install Front Fender Rear Upper Brace. Refer to Front Fender Rear Upper Brace Replacement
  10. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery)
