1	Outside Rearview Mirror Lower Glass WARNING: Approved safety glasses and gloves should be worn when performing this procedure to reduce the chance of personal injury. Procedure Apply several layers of masking tape to the bottom of the outside rearview mirror housing in order to protect the painted finish. Apply several layers of masking tape to the outside lower rearview mirror glass. Using the appropriate tool, break the mirror glass.
2	Outside Rearview Mirror Lower Glass Retainer Screw CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: Install retainer and retainer screw before installing 2 sided tape with new mirror. Tighten 17 N.m (12 lb ft)
