Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the battery positive cable (3) to the accessory wiring junction block stud and tighten the fastener (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  2. Install the accessory wiring junction block cover (1).

  3. Install the battery positive cable bracket to the engine block stud and tighten the fastener (3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  4. Install the battery positive cable (4) to the starter B + stud and tighten the fastener (2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Install the protective boot (1).
  6. Install the right catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side .

  7. Install the engine wiring and battery positive cable conduit (2) below the oil pan and tighten the fasteners (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  8. Connect the connector (2) to the steering gear motor (1).

  9. Install the battery positive cable terminal (3) to the generator B + stud (4) and tighten the fastener (2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  10. Install the B + stud protective boot (1).

  11. Install the mega fuse case (1) along with the battery positive cable terminal (3) to the body front wiring harness fuse block (4). Tighten the barrel fastener (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  12. Install the engine wiring harness and battery positive cables (3) to the body front wiring harness fuse block (5).
  13. Install the fasteners (4) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  14. Install the fastener (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  15. Install the body front wiring harness fuse block cover (1).
  16. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
