Installation Procedure

  1. Reposition the secondary air injection pipe to the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Secondary Air Injection Pipe & Pump

  2. Connect the secondary air injection pipe (1) to the secondary air injection pump (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Connect the secondary air injection pipe (1) to the left side secondary air injection bypass valve (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Connect the secondary air injection pipe (1) to the right side secondary air injection bypass valve (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX) .
